TRACI

GOUDIE

Traci Goudie is an award-winning director whose career across television, film, music, and commercial storytelling spans decades. Beginning in special effects and motion design, she spent eleven years immersed in post-production, developing a deep technical fluency and cinematic eye that continues to shape her work today. Transitioning into directing and producing music videos, Goudie built an internationally recognized body of work premiering on MTV Europe, MTV Australia, CMT, GAC, VH1, and MuchMusic. Her hands-on creative process—spanning storyboarding, art direction, costuming, editorial, and post—allows her to craft visually rich, emotionally resonant worlds. She is both meticulous and collaborative, forging a signature style that feels polished, poetic, and powerfully human. Goudie is widely regarded as a woman’s director—a filmmaker deeply attuned to how women want to be seen: strong, nuanced, dimensional, sensual without exploitation, and timeless. Her female-forward lens is rooted in agency and authenticity, shaping work that elevates rather than objectifies. This perspective has made her a natural fit for brands seeking to speak to women with intelligence, confidence, and emotional truth. Her commercial directing credits include national campaigns for Dell, Zoho, Verizon, USAA, and a full rebrand campaign for WebMD. She also story produced The Making of Magnolia Table with Joanna Gaines for Magnolia Network and directed episodic television including Ripley’s Believe It or Not, Haunted Texas (PBS), and digital series work. Goudie’s artistry has earned numerous Awards. As a photographer, she has collaborated with iconic artists including Merle Haggard, Carlos Santana, Jack Black, Pharrell Williams, Willie Nelson, and many others. In addition to her commercial and music work, Goudie wrote and directed a powerful PSA addressing sexual predatory behavior in the workplace, a project that earned her recognition from the Worldwide Women’s Association. The piece reflects her commitment to using visual storytelling not only to captivate audiences, but to advocate for women’s safety, dignity, and empowerment. Whether directing national campaigns or intimate character-driven narratives, Traci Goudie brings a rare combination of cinematic artistry, technical mastery, and emotional intelligence. Her work resonates because it understands its audience—particularly women—not as a demographic, but as individuals.
